AIR+ Smart Mask review & giveaway!

Well! This year haze reminds me of the time in June 2013, probably that was the first time I came across the worst kind of haze in Singapore. I was pregnant with my second baby and had to visit my gynaecologist for an appointment but It was so bad that I can barely breathe even with my mask.Today’s haze again make me feel the same and it is not just about confining my kids to home which they are not liking but sitting at home with all window closed breathing smoke is more miserable.

All my N95 collection is out for use these days but protective masks available in the market today comes mainly in one standard size, which I find are not so good for everyone at home and most of the time they are really big for young kids covering their entire face. My son who finds it very sweaty and keep adjusting that it lose the grip making it ineffective. That is not just the case with kids but for that matter since I am a claustrophobic so wearing those usual masks makes me suffocated. So me too keep on adjusting to make some space to breathe in!

Different Sizes

Created by ST Engineering’s subsidiary Innosparks Pte Ltd (Innosparks), AIR+ Smart Mask, a new protective mask(the Smart Mask) and a micro ventilator(the AIR+) that involved breakthrough innovations that better protect mask wearers against airborne contaminants.

The team took on the project with the objective to create a comfortable wearing mask(where we can breathe too) and at the same time took into consideration the smaller sizes as well.The Smart Mask is the first mask that is ergonomically designed with the three mask sizes(Small, Medium, Large), nose cushions and adjustable headstraps to achieve a close facial for for well-sealed protection and maximised comfort.

Light in weight
It is very light in weight and you won’t even feel carrying something extra with your mask.

 

AIR+ is powdered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. You can charge it via your computer, laptop or powder adaptor.Lithium battery is not replaceable. The average shell life of the AIR+ is up to 1000 battery hours(or can be used 500 times on a 2 hour/use basis).

Usage
Though wearing the smart mask is not difficult but my son wants to help me out to be a model. He is wearing Size M mask and straps are adjustable with pull back clip so easier for him to wear it on his own.

Just turn anti clockwise to remove the cap.

 

Put on your AIR+ micro ventilator to your smart mask and their is a small button next to it to switch on the fan.

The Smart Mask can be used for up to 8 continuous hours and it should be replaced when you find it hard to breathe. Stop using the mask if you experience breathing difficulties or allergic reactions.

Storage
If used every day, the AIR+ can be used for over a year, subject to battery rating condition.The AIR+ ventilator if properly stored can be used for long.

Head strap band is replaceable if in case it is spoilt and adjustable too.

These masks are quite compact that you can even slide them into your pockets or if in a bag just put it inside the zip lock bags.
