Experience the Ultimate Hot Spring Escape at Wellspring by Silks Beitou

Wellsprings by Silks in Beitou, Taipei, is a luxurious hot spring resort that recently opened. We had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel, which perfectly blends relaxation and rejuvenation.

Wellsprings Beitou Location

Just a three-minute walk from Xinbeitou MRT Station, the hotel features 100 elegantly designed scenic rooms and suites, each offering two private hot spring baths. Spacious suites include three outdoor hot spring baths.

Wellsprings Rooms & Suites

I stayed in the Hollywood King Room, and one of its standout features is the private hot spring bath. The hotel offers 16 private bathhouses, public hot springs, an outdoor pool, a kids’ area, an award-winning Wellspring Spa, and an art gallery and lounge space that showcases local talent.

The room features a large, elegantly designed hot spring tub, allowing guests to enjoy the mineral-rich waters of Beitou’s renowned geothermal springs in the privacy of their own space.

Wellsprings Facilities

Private Hot Spring

If you’re looking for a private hot spring experience in Beitou without staying at a hotel, you can book a day-use hot spring room. To reserve, please ensure that you make your booking in advance and note that a minimum of two guests is required for each reservation. Each booking grants you 90 minutes of hot spring use.

Public Hot Spring

The hot spring baths at Wellspring by Silks offer separate facilities for men and women. The design incorporates elements of “mountains” and “valleys,” reflecting both Taiwanese and Japanese hot spring traditions. The experienced hot spring bath instructors blend the unique ambiance of Beitou into the overall experience, ensuring a relaxing and authentic visit.

Both men’s and women’s hot spring baths include a sauna, a steam room, and a spacious dressing area. All guests must be at least 13 years old.

Gym, Yoga Studio, Swimming Pool

The hotel is fully equipped with facilities such as a gym, yoga studio, indoor kids’ area, and swimming pool.

Dinner at Bando Club

We dined at Bando Club, the hotel’s new Taiwanese restaurant, which features seven private dining rooms ideal for intimate groups of 10 to 20 guests. Additionally, there is a spacious banquet hall that can accommodate 80 to 100 guests.

Bando Club specializes in local flavors, offering specialties such as savory pork ribs, Penghu squid noodles, and Regent Taipei’s signature shaved ice dessert.

We explored the nearby area and tried several local foods and drinks. The region is home to numerous hot springs, including a unique hot spring hand-soaking pool.

We also visited the Xinbeitou Historic Station and the Taipei Public Library, Beitou Branch, which is Taiwan’s first green library.

Breakfast at Mihan

For breakfast, we dined at Mihan Beitou, a lively Japanese hotpot restaurant that has 116 seats and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The restaurant features a farm-to-table element by incorporating a fresh salad bar filled with locally sourced vegetables from Yangmingshan.

The Gallery

The Gallery is a beautiful space where families can relax or unwind while enjoying a selection of beverages and snacks. Happy hours are available from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and the venue is open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Overall, I love this place, especially if you want to experience the hot springs. This hotel is an excellent choice, offering both private and public hot springs for guests to enjoy.
