Kaira just turned 10 years old and wanted to celebrate her birthday with friends but at the same time, we couldn’t decide on anything as her friends are from different age groups. I really had to think of something which she loves and honestly, we are not yet over with Paris memories, cafes and her favourite art.
I have searched quite a few places and found Café de Paris, which matches what we had in our mind where kids can have fun & food and it is memorable too. This is a perfect place for Art-Jamming, Cakes, Coffee & their speciality Korean Bonbons – Eiffel Tower-inspired desserts topped with delicious fresh fruit too.
We booked the brunch kind of slot which worked well with kids and it was not crowded at the time. If you want to host a party with more guests like for us we had around 9-10 kids, it is better to book a slot earlier. 
Kids started with an art jamming session and it is just the perfect way to unleash your creativity. You will be provided with a canvas, colours, an apron etc but make sure to wear something which you don’t mind getting spoilt on – especially for kids as Kaira wore her Birthday dress and kids being kids the colour was all over the dress despite an apron.
It is a 2-3 hours free and easy session and the best part is that you can take home your masterpieces also. All the kids came up with something interesting, some used the references while others wanted to go with their imagination.
Every art jamming session comes with a complimentary drink. We just let kids enjoy the art jamming followed by the drinks and food.
The cafe has a good selection to choose from pizza, pasta, fried chicken, avocado toast, wrap, and lasagne, you can check their website for the exact menu available.
Parisian Birthday
Some pointers if you are going to celebrate here –
- Keep your group of kids around 10.
- Don’t wear your party dresses and a simple Tee/shorts is good as kids really spoil their clothes
- Bring along wet wipes if you wish though the cafe has tissues
- You can choose and decide your menu beforehand (for both veg and non-veg choices). Since we had a few kids who are vegetarian.
- You can bring your masterpiece with you back home
You can bring your own Birthday cake and a little decoration to do near your table. We got the in-house baked special Birthday cake by Cafe de Paris.
