Heart to Heart where I shared my cancer journey!
Recently I went live with Sharon Wong, Founder & CEO of Motherswork to share my cancer journey on Instagram live. I have been talking about my cancer journey and sharing my experiences to create positivity around which helps others in fighting with this deadly disease.
I was also invited by Max factor to share my cancer journey earlier and recently with Lancome as 100 inspiring women in Singapore
I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (NHL), a type of cancer that starts in the lymph nodes and lymphatic system.
Aayan was just 9 months when I was diagnosed with cancer and at that time it seems like the end of my world as I have just stepped into motherhood. How I coped up with the entire diagnosis, what treatment I had and how emotionally and physically draining was the entire treatment.
How difficult it was to stay away from my little baby because of the treatment, fear of infection and zero stamina.
How it has affected my health and how my priorities in life have changed afterwards.
