Changi Airport never fails to fascinate us and there is always something exciting everytime to experience! “Changi Loves Kids” is Changi Airport’s initiative to create a kids’ friendly destination for families to shop, dine and play. The initiative was launched in October 2016 in celebration of Children’s Day, with a series of activities and enhancement initiatives focusing on offering the best for Changi Airport’s little visitors. We were recently invited to experience it and kids were super thriller to enjoy the overall activities.Kids can enjoy the various rides in the carnival-
Grand Carousel
What’s a Carnival without the good old Carousel! Get ready to be wowed by the prancing horses and the colourful lights! Western Train
It’s time for an adventure! Let your child go on Changi Airport’s very own choo choo train for a ride at the airport. Heli Jet Ride
If your child loves the sky, then this is the ride for them! The Helicopter-themed merry-go-round will keep them happy for days on end.
GAMES
Ring Toss
Another game that will require good aiming skills, children and adults will be given five rings to toss over the sticks. Those lucky enough to hit four out of five targets will be in for a ‘sur-PRIZE’!
Carnival Claw
Put yourself to the test and pick a magical capsule from the Claw Machine in a single try! Each capsule contains a special note to let you know if you have won a prize!
Feed the Lions
Feed ‘hungry lions’ by aiming balls at the lions’ mouths. Adults are welcome to join in the fun too!
DINING
KIDS DINE FOR FREE + FREE CARNIVAL-THEMED KIDS PACK
Kids dine for free at some of Changi Airport’s best restaurants, on all weekends between 11am and 2pm during the carnival period. In addition, each child will also receive a free Carnival-themed kids pack comprising colouring activities, ‘cut-out’ models and more! Available daily from 31 Aug to 8 Oct 2017.
Hello Kitty Cafe Singapore is one of the participating restaurants and we got to enjoy the kids’ menu too. Kids ordered “Kitty in waffletown” and it was totally yummy and comes along with a drink.
