I love cooking with my kids and they really enjoy the little things we do be it baking, cooking or decorating together. It is a messy affair some time but it is a great way to have family bonding while cooking together. You will notice that kids will learn faster when they do it with you.
Sometime back Aayan has learnt to cook noodles as a part of learning camp he attended in the school. We tried our hands at Myojo packet noodles and I don’t think it needs any introduction as I was reading other day that it was launched in the Singapore market in 1971 and continues to be one of the best sellers. I have not tried all the flavours but got my hands on Ramen Char Mee, Chicken Abalone and Chicken Tanmen.
Today, we decided to do something creative with our noodles and kids were in a picnic mood as it was raining outside so camping inside. Both Aayan and Kaira made their Bento set with Myojo noodles and we cooked the Chicken Tanmen. Did you notice that Myojo Chicken Heart icon on their packet?
Both of them were all set ready with the Lettuce (Greens), Sausage (Meat), Eggs (Protein), Edamame (Omega 3 fatty acids), Carrot ( Vitamin), Corn ( Antioxidants), Cheese ( Calcium).
Both of them giving some finishing touch to their personalised Bento set.
Well, Soup is missing from it as they want to decorate it with noodles otherwise half of it will spill everywhere. All hard work done and now we are going to enjoy a healthy homemade Bento with Myojo noodles for their dinner.

Ahh what a cute way to dress up a simple bowl of instant noodles! 🙂
Good job, Aayan and Kaira. Kids just love having fun with food, don’t they?
Interesting activity. Thanks for sharing.
