Trampoline parks are the latest craze everywhere especially with the kids, every weekend Aayan would ask,”When can we visit a trampoline park?” but I was not sure whether my little girl will enjoy it or not. So, we finally made a trip to Katapult trampoline park at ORTO. We didn’t regret travelling all the way to this indoor trampoline park which is beautifully located in a kampong style.

You have to go all the way up to Level 2 upstairs to the reception – get your tickets, socks and fill the waiver online, everyone who enters Katapult to jump must complete a waiver before entering the arena. You will get your band and trampoline park socks; ONLY Katapult and trampoline park socks are allowed.

It is mandatory to watch the Safety video before a jump.

Aayan has summed up his visit to Trampoline

“I and my family went to the Katapult trampoline park, but we had to wait at the office for next session. After that, we started jumping on the trampoline and had so much fun exploring all the areas. Later I went on the jumping bag when I jumped on it, I find it was very tricky to get out of it. After that, I went to the wall walking and I could walk only for a while and then I want to do sky jumping but only my father could do the sky jumping, I also wanted to go for it but it was only for eighteen and above.”

“I enjoyed myself  and wish to go there again.”

Thinking, what all you can do here??

You can bounce in the main Court with over 30 interconnected trampolines and which is more of free area and in one of the corner you can read “Kids Zone” dedicated to young kids.  You can play vertical dodgeball, free fall into an airbag, slam dunk, wall run with our professional trampolines, and do tricks into the airbag! Check out the fun we had at the trampoline.

Dad’s turn to try out the free fall “Watch me jump” and was glad that he did it but Aayan was not allowed on it.

Wall run is for more experienced and people are specially trained in it.

Kaira was a bit afraid that everyone around was jumping so high and kids under the age of 4 years old have to be accompanied by a parent. After a while, she too wants to jump but not high.

Do you love balancing?

Slackline: A long, narrow trampoline stretched between two anchored poles. One of them Aayan has tried walking like this and another one mum tried her best to balance, sometimes mum behaves more kiddish.

They have got lockers inside and that too with a noble cause where proceeds from the rental of lockers will contribute to the fundraising efforts for Ground-up Initiative (GUI).

The only thing we realised that it is not air-conditioned, so after a while you feel sweaty though ventilation is good.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience in a happy, healthy way and a perfect family fun activity together. No compromise on the safety as you will see their Marshals around all the time. They have got an indoor cafe with a viewing gallery if in case you don’t want to enter the trampoline area.
