Method
My son enjoys baking with me, so i usually try those recipes in which he can help me as well.
So, to start with this cake preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius .In the meantime oven will preheat , we will get ready with

1.Mash or blend the banana properly so that no pieces are
left and it should look like a smooth paste.This part your little ones can also help you. Might get bit messy but that is fun.

2.Add sugar, milk, yogurt, oil, salt and banana essence to
banana puree.

3.Sift both the flours along with baking soda
4. Mix both dry and wet ingredients together and mix gently
and evenly.

5. I usually take this bread loaf pan to baking banana cake
6. In Banana cake usually we add almond, raisins but aayan loves to add chocolate chip .
7.You can either grease the pan or use the butter paper
for baking it

8.Bake it for 35-40 minute and check once after 30 minutes with a tooth pick or fork.
If your pick comes out clean then it is ready .

I make a similar one, but without the banana essence– if the bananas are ripe enough the cake smells of them any way. Over-ripe bananas also means I can reduce the amount of sugar.
Yes Damayanti ! With over riped bananas you can reduce the sugar and exclude the essence as well.
