Kids got a short break from their school during the children’s day week, Aayan wanted to see the Esplanade! So, we made a trip to Esplanade though only managed to visit on the last day but nevertheless we enjoyed it thoroughly.
Esplanade was celebrating Octoburst!
October is the time for Octoburst! – the weekend childrens’ festival that promises you three exciting days of arts activities from 5-7 Oct 2012, and celebrates the value of ‘hope’. It is the annual festival produced by Esplanade – Theatres On The Bay (Singapore) that celebrates the merriment of childhood with an exciting line up of activities dedicated especially to all children.
The postcard project
At the entrance, these lovely postcards with messages (love, family, togetherness) were provided and all the kids, as well as adults, were encouraged to draw anything on it and post the message and it will be displayed during the octoburst festival.

Oh Humpty Dumpty !
This 20 minutes drama show by the young artists from the Little arts academy on the popular nursery rhyme ‘ oh Humpty dumpty and all of us enjoyed it a lot .
