Parenting experiences by Sireesha

Sireesha & Shekhar(Sethu) got married in 2002 @ Tirupati, India.Fell in love back in 1999. In spite of being relatives, we had different challenges to overcome & finally got married with support from both the families!

Soon after they got married they were blessed with Sanjana (our elder daughter) in April 2003! Sanjana is a very sweet & independent girl!

She says Singapore is just another home for us ..Like every parents they were happy to know that she is pregnant and she was quite young at the time of her first pregnancy . I was really happy & the journey of 9 months with the full support of my dear hubby, my family &my in-laws family

Samyu is our younger daughter & she’s 2 and half yrs old now!.. Samyu didn’t even cry for a moment after she was born on June 21, 2008 in Tirupati, India!

Doctor had to pat her back to make her realize it! Samyu’s dad Sethu was anxiously waiting outside the delivery ward with his camera on hand !

Just after few mins of Samyu’s birth, the nurse carried the baby covered in a towel . Sethu’s first view of the baby was through camera & it is no wonder us that samyu doesn’t have the camera consciousness! We call our angel Samyuktha by name – “Jill” (meaning chill or cool) !

Samyu loves to play, fight with her elder sister Sanjana.Both of them have a great bonding .

Samyu loves to be surrounded by the people everywhere from the shopping malls to the parks ..But she feels her family back in India miss the growing years of her little sweetheart !

Sireesha says when Samyu’s started with her playschool recently it was a bit hard as she keep on crying for her 1st session! But now she enjoys with her friends .
