It was a couple of years back when we got Aayan his first Chessboard and he was super excited. He literally wanted everyone to play with him all the time and trust me it is quite difficult to match his wavelength when it comes to Chess.
This is the very first-time Aayan has played any live Chess tournament and I remember Nikhil always keep asking him to go for these tournaments and Aayan keep saying that he will go one day for these tournaments.
Aayan is so passionate about playing Chess that he can play for hours and hours on his own but never felt like going for any tournament as such.
We were pretty happy that he was going for a proper Chess tournament and playing live face to face with other Chess players as for the last couple of years due to Covid not many physical tournaments were happening. Surely nothing can beat playing together sitting face to face looking for the next move.
Since this was the 1st time he sat for this tournament and played his game, we were not sure what to expect. It came to us as a surprise when they announced the results.
It feels so happy to see him improving and becoming a stronger player day by day. I can’t even imagine playing a Chess game in my mind and predicting the next 5-10 moves.
Aayan won his 1st Silver trophy in a Chess tournament organized by Kasparov Chess Foundation Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd
This Mumma is feeling very emotional seeing her kids grow, learn, win and shine, sharing a little piece of my heart permanently here to always feel proud of my kids. Documenting his very first win and wishing him many more wins and success.
