- In a pan take fresh or dry coconut and lightly roast the grated coconut for 5 minutes.
- Add milkmaid to it and stir for 2-3 minutes on low flame only, as it will stick to the bottom very fast.
- Add Roofaza to it for a light pinkish colour (Can skip this)
- Take it off the burner and let it cool down..
- Slightly grease your hands with oil and make small balls of this mixture. If you wish you can add some roasted dry fruits to it, I am adding a little Gulkand and Saunf to it.
- Roll them over the remaining coconut.
Preparing sweets at home is part of Diwali tradition and there are so many sweet and savoury recipes that are part of the festivities. Do share in the comments the recipes which you have been preparing or your family cooks especially during the festive time.
Happy Diwali and let me know if you try them out 🎇
