Curd sandwich is a creamy, yummy sandwich with the richness of curd and veggies that give it a crunchy flavour. It is a great alternate and a quick fix if you don’t have cheese or any dip. It is healthy too so you can give it to kids for snack time or lunchtime as well.
Not only this sandwich but I usually add some sesame seeds with butter or olive oil for all the sandwiches I prepare on the pan. Sesame seeds, in general, has many benefits and in India, we eat it a lot during the winter months. High source of calcium, anti-ageing, boosts digestion etc.
Curd Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
- Bread- 4-6 ( depends)
- Hung Curd – 3 tbsp
- Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp (optional)
- Grated carrot- 1
- Finely chopped capsicum- 1/2 or 3 tbsp
- Corn- 1 cup (boiled)

Method
I took hung curd here as it will not make the sandwich soggy. Simply take the usual curd in a muslin cloth and hang it so that there is no water or liquid.
In a bowl take boiled corn.Add chopped capsicumAdd grated carrot
Now add hung curd to it. You can skip adding mayonnaise if in case you don’t have it. It just enhances the flavour.
Add spices, mixed herbs, salt and mix them well.
Take bread slices (you can take wholemeal or white bread) and cut the corners. Take 2 spoons of curd mixture and spread it evenly on the bread slice.
Heat a pan add some butter and little sesame seeds, keep the bread slices and toast them on a medium-low flame for a crispy texture. Repeat the same on the other side as well. Enjoy your creamy rich curd sandwich.
