Here comes Aayan’s 12th birthday this year which means he will be entering into his teens next year and pretty exciting isn’t? Was it Birthday at home or Quarantine birthday?
This year has been really different and we were under circuit breaker so no friends, no parties, no get together, no outside food but celebrations still go on.. though with a little twist but birthdays are always special.
We did little zoom celebrations with family in India while cutting the cake so that everyone can be part of it. Though it was a different feeling this time he really enjoyed it.
You can never go wrong with a chocolate cake.
Kaira always has some or other surprises planned for everyone. So a day before she was marking the places and making notes for a gift treasure hunt.

To find your gift follow the trail of notes, it has arrows on it if you follow the arrows it will bring you to your gifts. Isn’t it the sweetest when your little sister makes it more fun for you.

Waiting for the day when you said your first word to now asking endless questions, holding our hand to learn walking to racing on your scooter, sitting next to you to finish your work to doing things on your own!!
Giving you a tight hug when you feel sad or unable to express your emotions, at times Mumma is screaming at you and regretting later then we both cry and laugh together.
Still snuggle you to sleep every night and hoping to do as long as I can!!
