October is the time when you can surely look forward to many fun-filled activities lined up for kids at Esplanade. The annual Octoburst! – A Children’s Festival was running from 7-9th oct’2016 this year. While writing this post, I realised that we went to Esplanade Octoburst a few years back. Octoburst 2012!
Octoburst! is the perfect festival to encourage play and family fun while immersing in a world of terrific tales and creative endeavours. You can look forward from delightful performances to hands-on workshops. There were both free workshops and ticketed performances.
We went to see our favourite” Little Red Riding Hood” and we have watched different performances, shows and read story books.
My, my, what a big imagination you have!
Retrace Little Red Riding Hood’s path in the woods with two little ones as they play a game of ‘what-if’ and pretend! They run and chase each other, taking on different roles but both eager to take on the role of Mr Wolf …or is that…Miss Wolf?
Though at times, Kaira was not completely in flow with what was happening especially when they switch roles but she was totally involved and jumping with joy when other kids were laughing and screaming ” Wolf is behind you, look there!”
It was around 55 minutes show with a mystery who is actually the wolf! Brilliant performance by Bruno Cappagli and Carlotta Zini. My little red riding hood is still confused!

Kids here are so blessed these days, they have such interesting activities stir and stimulate their imagination. We were there for some events of Octoburst too and have always found them to be so enriching. Thanks for sharing.
