Personally, I like and encourage the kids/family day at the parent’s office as it give them the happiness to see and feel the place where every day their parents work for the entire day.I still remember as a kid whenever we used to get the chance to visit our parent’s workplace it was the best day. Everyone will treat you like a prince/ princess and not to forget it was like a treasure hunt.
So, I always encourage not to missing the chance to take kids on these special occasions to let them feel as if they are going to work like papa and mumma today in the office. What a wonderful feeling!
I saw that mysterious smile on Aayan’s face when he said, “Papa & mumma office is so good you can watch Television, party, play and eat “. After hearing all these goodie words even we felt the same … Wish if office was like this ……..!
“Wow” is the feeling for them!
Luckily when your office is in CBD and you get a chance to click these amazing view.
I may not be able to mention all the activities but there were a lot of them lined up for the entire day. We started with some indoor fun .
A separate section for toddlers – so little one can enjoy freely in their own space and Kaira enjoying with enough toys and activities to keep her busy. Her expressions were like,” How to play this guitar?”
Later we moved to some outdoor fun and here is what we started our outdoor activities – one and only which we always love — Bouncy Castle!
Aayan started to finish all the task on the card to get the stamps for each activity – Volleyball, cricket, Bowling, Tennis, badminton, race, toastmaster, photography and many more ….
This is super fun! As much as I wanted to experience the same, but I can't! I'm a working at home mom and I agree that it will certainly feel great to let your kids visit their parents workplace.
I used to visit my parents’ work places and it was indeed very fond childhood memories! You are right about the other adults in the office treating us like princess. Too bad I can’t recreate such memories for my kids since I work from home now.. heh heh…
Looks like your office put in a huge effort for the family day, as I know some office do minimally for kids having fun on that one day and already make them grin from ear to ear. Unfortunately, my office doesn’t have such culture.
