PN Kids Complete Multivitamin+ Mineral syrup – Review + Giveaway

PN Kids
As a parent our main concern is the whether our kids are eating their balanced diet everyday or not. It becomes quite difficult to feed them what we actually want them to eat as they grow. A complete diet is not veggies or a fruit alone at one particular meal but what they are eating for the entire day. My son has always been a fussy eater though he was so good until age of 2 eating everything but after that most of the time it was a struggle feeding.I understand that force feeding never takes you anywhere rather your kids will start disliking their FOOD or YOU for sure!!
Now my son has started with his primary and got the privilege to choose his own food during the school hours and a fan of chicken rice.

My 2 years old little girl is not that fussy or choosy eater and thankfully loves to try the new food but then she too had her own phase of hunger strike many a times.

I still remember when their appetite used to completely go down doctor advised syrup with Lysine to improve their appetite but they never liked the taste of it. Over the years I would have tried quite a few syrup with them but then stopped all. Recently I saw PNKids products in the pharmacy other day and read its contents with 21 vitamins and minerals but again I wasn’t sure whether they will take it or not. Another quite interesting thing it was stated “For Boys” and ” For Girls” on the bottle even though the ingredients looks exactly same.

So, I really want to explore the mystery and here we go with our review of PNKids Complete Multivitamins+ Minerals syrup

In 2014, PNKids has been ranked No. 1 for the Kids Multivitamin Brand in Singapore in the Western Pharmacy stores, based on AC Nielsen report.
In 2015, PNKids has recently launched their new range of PNKids Complete Multivitamin + Mineral Syrup formulated with a complete solution for all the essential needs required for a child’s healthy development. It is formulated with 21 essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, Lysine and that too with a great-tasting mango flavour suitable for infants and children age 1 and older.
Its special formula is designed to give your child’s body the micro-nutrients needs during the specific stages for growth. It is particularly important for toddlers making the transition from “fortified milk formula” to standard cow milk.
For my girl
Only difference I got to know after opening the pack for my boy and my girl was toy inside the pack. I am sure your boy would not like a pink toy inside his pack.
For my Boy
He was quite happy to see the freebie inside just for him.
Colour and taste is same for both boy and girl’s syrup( mango flavour). You can take the syrup either in water or milk or juice but usually recommended to take it in water. For me it is easier to give the syrup to my kids in water rather than milk or juice as they don’t like to add anything to their milk.
When I gave it to Aayan he was a bit reluctant to take it first he mentioned, ” It has got a mango flavour but with a slight medicine like taste”. Surprisingly when i gave it to Kaira, she took it without any hesitation when I thought she too will have same opinion as her big B. It took them a while( to be precise) 2-3 days to get use to the taste. Now it is like everyday routine for them to take it after their lunchtime.
Other day we were rushing to the market, when Aayan reminded me that they have not taken the Multivitamin syrup. I was very happy that they have started liking it and most important they know it is a part of their routine. For a mummy isn’t it a wonderful thing that kids start to follow a routine and mum don’t have to remember everything!
If you think that initially your kids are taking time to adjust to it. You can even try this one as I did in the past, I have tried putting it into a small portion of their meal too.
Best time to take the vitamins gummies or syrup is after your meals.
Recommended dosage is given on the pack –
12 month- 3 years of age -Take 5ml once a day
3- 12 years – Take 10ml once a day
Well! On the pack it was mentioned “Extra photobook voucher inside” . Instructions are given in  this small card for your Free personalized 6″ X 6″ Mini Square Softcover(40 pages) worth $33.90

  1. Its important that kids get the right amount of vitamins so that they can grow big and strong. I love how the bottle looks so attractive! It makes me think of an approach to get the kids to drink rainbow. hehe

  2. I actually bought 1 bottle to try and my kids as well as my niece prefers to take it by the spoonful rather than mixing it up with water. Guess they prefer the sugar rush they get from the thick sauce. (don't know what's the right term for it)

  3. How does it feel right to be a hands-on mom. 🙂 I'm excited to be one someday and I hope I could share to fellow moms as you do. Good thing that you are really careful in choosing the right vitamins for your kids.

  4. This is the perfect gift for my sisters as their kids do not like medicines.
So, whatever that looks/ smells like medicine, they will automatically throw it out.
    Thanks for the sharing.

  5. yeah we have this brand here too. Wow.. look at the toys, they are much bigger there. Over here is all mostly same like just puzzle or a doll girly.

  6. This is cool. When my twins were younger, I made sure they take their multi-vitamins everyday. It's something that they have to get used to. I'm glad your kids are adjusting well to it.

  7. I've seen this vitamins in the departmental stall and my tuition kid eats it too! Not sure how effective it is to get kids to eat sweeten vitamins, but if it is necessary for their health, just do it!

  8. Complete multi vitamins sound gratifying to insure the perfect nutrients the kids need. What is the use of it when the kid does not have a good appetite or eating habit? I relate this experience when an instance I overheard a government physician talking to a mother with a skinny son. The mother is asking the doctor for a vitamins prescription so that her child may recover from malnutrition. The doctor simply replied by asking, how could your son have a better appetite when you don't have enough food to eat; vitamins are useless.

  9. It's weird and interesting that they placed a label for girls and for boys on the bottle but they have the same content? :p Too bad they only have mango flavor. My daughter prefers grapes flavored medicine.
