Well ! My world is going green … I am smiling on this statement and anyone who will read will smile or probably will think I am crazy but for sure few moms can relate to it as well.
It’s about giving greens to my son. Now with starting of his primary school and taking food for his snacks time from home is a daily norm. We have this routine of taking something “healthy” for the school snacks and no packed or overly sweet food usually it is one fruit and on some day home baked cake with less sugar.

Why I am stressing on this healthy snack as my darling is a picky eater and it took me ages to let him have a new food as every time story ends with trying and the end.

Today when I asked Aayan, ” What he is going to take for his snacks tomorrow ?”
He said,” Cheese Sandwich and keep thinking one more thing( one you gave me other day in green colour ).”
I was like,” Green colour ?”  That one in green colour with the chicken burger.
Trust me I really had to think what was that green colour food I gave to him which he is asking for and i don’t remember( must be something healthy)
I asked him,” Zucchini ?” He replied,” No !” something like leafy!
Is it “Lettuce ?”
Yes yes ! Give me some with cheese sandwich 🙂
I asked him, ” Thrice ! Lettuce, right ?”
Felt like pinching myself to ask, ” Hope i am not dreaming at the moment ” and at the same time hoping for the more greener days ahead !!
Let’s wait for tomorrow and see how greener the day will be !
When last week he took” Grapes ” for his snacks and very proudly told me after his school that mumma, do you know today my teacher told the entire class,” Everyone should bring healthy food for the breakfast time like Aayan has got the grapes!”

One thing is for sure that I can see the brighter changes in Aayan and treasuring them every moment. How these small little things are giving a sense of accomplishment.

Have a green day 🙂
