Chicken Stroganoff is a complete meal cooked with meat using onion, mushroom, cream etc and served with rice or pasta. Since I have prepared this for my baby so made few changes to it but adults can enjoy this food too.
If you are preparing for older kids then you can change the consistency and add more flavours to it.
She loved to pick up the pieces to self-feed herself ! For younger babies who cannot chew you can blend it as well.
Ingredients
Chicken-3 tbsp(Diced)
Onion-1/2 chopped (small)
Mushroom-1 chopped
Broccoli-2 florets
Potato-2 tbsp (mashed or diced -4/5 pieces)
Carrot-2 tbsp chopped
Ginger/Garlic- 1 tbsp (minced)
Butter- 1 tbsp
Couscous- 1-2 tbsp
Water or cubes( veg stock or chicken stock)Method
In a pan take butter add onion, ginger garlic and sauté for a minute.
Add carrot, broccoli, mushroom and cover for 1-2 minutes. Now add chicken and couscous.
Stir it gently adding potato and salt(can eliminate).
Lastly, add water around 1 cup or 3 stock cubes (homemade) to it. Check consistency and add more water if required.
It can be prepared without adding couscous or you can take pasta, rice as a part of it or can be served separately.
