We all know that chicken soup is loved by everyone and it is probably the first thing which comes to your mind when down with flu.
I wanted to get my baby the taste and flavours of all fruits and vegetables, so before introducing the chicken thought of preparing the chicken soup and let baby enjoy it.
I prepare this homemade soup which can be enjoyed by everyone in the family , i dont add any salt and add salt when giving to my hubby and son.
Be it that I am soupy veggies freak…I have added few vegetables to make it a complete meal.
Ingredients
Chicken-250 g (boneless)
Potato- 1 medium
Onion-1 Big
Broccoli-5-6 florets
Spinach-15-20 leaves
Carrot-1 big
Ingredients
Wash all the vegetables and chicken thoroughly .Cut the chicken into big chunks , dice the potato, onion, broccoli, spinach and carrot.
Add all the ingredients together in a pressure cooker and get the 3-4 whistles.
Take out the steam and let it cook on low flame for 30-40 minutes .
Water will look more thicker and richer.
For baby you can mash the vegetable and sieve it along the chicken soup.
You can add it to cereal, rice or can cook the homemade cereal with chicken soup.
When baby start to eat bit thicker food and you are introducing chicken , puree the chicken piece and mix with vegetable soup and give it to baby.
